  Dear colleagues, The Global Unions Committee on Workers’ Capital (CWC) would like to share with you the agenda for the conference taking place from 16-17 October 2013 at the AFL-CIO headquarters in Washington, DC. Shifting to the Long Term is a global conference organized by the Global Unions Committee on Workers’ Capital (CWC), a joint initiative of the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC), the Trade Union Advisory Committee to the OECD (TUAC) and the Global Unions Federation (GUFs), and hosted this year by the American Federation of Labor & Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO).

The event will provide opportunities for pension fund trustees, trade union representatives and other responsible investment stakeholders to discuss current developments, share initiatives and co-ordinate strategies to promote long-term and responsible management of workers’ capital.
